Pima Sheriff Deputy contradicts himself.. Says you can't have anything at all in your hand and I disagreed with him

 Sheriff.. Says to me.. If you hold anything in your hand it distracts your driving.

Me.. It's not against the law to hold something in your hand while driving...

Sheriff... yes it is...

Me.. Okay, so I have this soda can, you mean to say if I hold this in my hand and drive it's illegal to do so..

Sheriff.... No.. but it should be...

So this guy is telling me that anything that is held in your hand is illegal according to his mindset, yet he uses a police radio while driving... Something doesn't add up... I seen him 1 handed driving and talking on his radio.. This also means he must think other Sheriff deputies should get tickets for taking a sip of water while driving through the Tucson desert in the summer... Could you imagine all the time wasted if the officers had to pull over... stop on the road disrupting traffic.. then drink water... Okay.. now it's safe to drive.... Or if you changed your radio station... He thinks that's illegal too.. Or people with stick shift.. ah.. that might be too dangerous... as if everyone is a complete idiot..

And this is after I witnessed the guy make an illegal turn from the left turn lane to get on the road (he turned right cutting into traffic) instead of turning just to stalk me because I had pulled off and he wanted to harass me some more so he can drum up a charge... His reasoning was... I turned down a street after he was following me and I got back on the road.. So that gave him a right to do that too... He was trying to give me a ticket.. He thought I was a Mexican guy in a black SUV... Because I was in a Mexican area... or he was just doing it to intentionally harass me.. Either way I was profiled and given a fake charge because I wasn't using my cell phone while driving.. I wasn't using the device...

I can't imagine what other Sheriff's might think of him if he honestly believes this... They should pull over, get out of their car to drink a sip of water or soda.. It would be a very unproductive force.... Unlikely that they do this... He is just making up stuff to act like he has a case against me.. I had taken a video of him at a stop light.. The video is in the previous post.. He accused me of using my phone while driving yet has no proof of this.. My phone records and text records have no text or phone conversations while I was driving.. I simply was not using my phone..
